Safari in the National Park of Nakagera

Akagera National Park is located in eastern Rwanda on the Tanzanian border. African parks currently manage this park and have done an excellent job in terms of conservation. Akagera National Park is the only savanna park in Rwanda and is home to several mammal species, including lions, elephants, giraffes and hippos. You will go on a safari to look of these mammals. The park is also home to many bird species in a variety of habitats, including forests, swamps and lakes.

What Is the program ?

Everest will pick you up early in the morning, you will leave Kigali around 5:00 for a day trip to Akagera National Park, about two and a half hours from Kigali. The safari can last about 4 hours depending on the observations and interests of the animals.
A lunch or picnic is planned at Akagera's playhouse.
