Extreme hike on the Bisoke volcano































Bisoke Volcano is a dormant volcano that is one of eight volcanoes in the Virunga Conservation Area in East and Central Africa. Mount Bisoke is 3,711 meters high with a crater lake and beautiful vegetation at the summit. Mount Bisoke is a day hike that requires a good physical condition and a rude steep walk. It is a beautiful hike to the top of the Bisoke.
You may have the chance to cross the famous silver-backed gorilla (emblem of Rwanda) without paying $ 1500 which is the price of access to the gorilla park.

What’s in the program ?

Everest will pick you up at your accommodation location very early to arrive at Kinigi Park before 7am, just in time for information and registration before continuing to the main trail - the starting point of the hike to Mount Bisoke. You will be provided with packed lunches and hiking equipment.
Note that you need your guide to drive you on the Bisoke Head Trail because it is far from the briefing point and is usually muddy and rocky.

Good to know :

This is an altitude hike, which requires physical and mental preparation!
Take your best hiking shoes to face the rocks and mud! But most importantly, take comfortable clothes that cover your limbs to protect you from the cold and jungle branches.
Eat well and sleep well the day before this experience, enough to give you strength to succeed in this challenge!
